The standard across the Welsh food and drink industry is exceptionally high, so to be
recognised as Food Producer of the Year is something we’re immensely proud of. The
award reflects the hard work, passion and dedication of our entire team, as well as the
farmers, suppliers, and customers we work with every day.
What’s been the best reaction you’ve had since the win?
The best reaction has been seeing how proud our team are, and how much the award
means to them. Receiving this award has been made possible by everyone who
contributes to the business, and it’s been wonderful to see them celebrated.
Who inspires you in the food and drink world and why?
We’re inspired by the people and businesses who are constantly pushing the food and
drink industry forward, from farmers to entrepreneurs and large food producers. Those
who combine innovation with quality, sustainability and a genuine commitment to
consumers are helping shape the future of food.
Got any words of wisdom for someone dreaming of launching a food or drink
business?
Be prepared to learn every day. Success rarely happens overnight, but if you’re
passionate, resilient and willing to adapt, there are huge opportunities in the industry.
What drives you to create change or set new standards in the Welsh food and drink
industry?
Wales has a fantastic reputation for producing world-class food. We’re driven by a
desire to build on that reputation, continually raising standards in quality, sustainability
and innovation.
What’s next for you and the business? Any exciting plans on the horizon that you
can share?
We’re focused on continuing to invest in our products, our people and our partnerships.
There will be exciting opportunities ahead as we look to grow, develop new products,
and further strengthen our commitment to sustainable food production.
