Among a hugely competitive field, your business shone through, how does that feel?!

It’s an amazing feeling and something I’m really proud of. We’ve worked incredibly hard over the last few years, so to be recognised among so many great Welsh businesses means a lot to me and the team.

What’s been the best reaction you’ve had since the win?

Probably seeing how proud the team and our customers were. A lot of people have followed our journey from the start, so the support has been brilliant.

Who inspires you in the food and drink world and why?

I admire businesses that stay consistent, focus on quality and genuinely improve the customer experience rather than just following trends.

Got any words of wisdom for someone dreaming of launching a food or drink business?

Start before you feel fully ready and stay consistent. The industry is tough, but hard work, adaptability and listening to customers go a long way.

What drives you to create change or set new standards in the Welsh food and drink industry?

I want to show that healthy food can be convenient, affordable and still high quality. I’m also passionate about proving Welsh businesses can compete at a really high level.

What’s next for you and the business, any exciting plans on the horizon that you can share?

We’re focused on growing sustainably, reaching more customers and continuing to improve everything we do. There’s a lot more to come from Lean Kitchen.

Finally, what’s the best bit about being part of the Welsh food and drink scene?

The sense of community. There’s a lot of support within the industry, and it’s great being surrounded by passionate businesses representing Wales so well.
